Reading assignment 10

This reading covers bits and bobs that a C programmer is expected to know, but which are somewhat uninteresting. The goal in this reading is that you know generally about these features, but the details will not be harped on in this course.

• King, Ch. 14:
• Intro and Sections 14.1, 14.2 give useful general knowledge.
• 14.3 is also worthwhile, but parameterized macros (p. 321) is not something we will be using at all. We also won’t wander into later subsections of 14.3. Read them if you are an overly curious person.
• 14.4 is good to know; these techniques are in common use.

• 14.5 is very obscure.

• King, Ch. 15: This should repeat much of what we have discussed about breaking up a program into files. Skim it, looking for details that have thus far eluded you.
