Revising Assignment 3 or 4 for credit

You may revise your work on Assignment 3 or 4 (but not both!) for credit. Here are the rules:

The revised grade will replace your original grade.
The new grade must be at least a 3.7 to count. Revisions that yield a grade less than 3.7 will have no effect on your grade. The intent is that you put the time in to really polish your work before submitting.
Your revised work must make proper use of functions to count.
Your revised work must be intentionally written to count. This means that it should not work “by accident”:
- Do not draw something in the same place multiple times. (For example, a for-loop that goes on too long.)
- Do not have code that has no effect. (For example, a translate(0,0) call, or variables that are never used.)
- Do not use mathematical functions that are inappropriate. (For example, using for(int i = 0; i < array.length; i += PI/2). Note that we’re incrementing by PI/2 here. This will actually work, because PI/2 will get rounded to 1 – but it’s mathematically inappropriate. Another example is using map() with unexpected arguments that just happen to make a graph line up with where you draw your axes.)

Please hand in your revised work, with a fresh write-up describing your experience completing these revisions, in class on the due date. Include your graded original submission.

If you do not have your graded original submission to resubmit, you must email me ahead of time to let me know why you do not have it. Note that you will not have this graded original submission during your review for the upcoming exam; you may wish to make a photocopy of it.
